Out of Province Registrations
Registering an out of province vehicle is easy and straight forward. There typically two steps involved in this process.
Step 1: Request for Inspection
Your first step is to request for an inspection. You can do this by
- Identification
- Customs form (if out of country)
- Title/Previous registration/ Bill of sale (proof of ownership)
Step 2: Register Your Vehicle
Once you have completed step 1, then you need to provide the next set of documents to complete step 2. The list of documents include:
- Alberta Insurance for those named on the policy of the registered owners
- Identification
- Proof of ownership
- A mechanical inspection form
- Customs form (if out of country)
- Authorization form
